Parking in Paris
In Paris, you have to pay to park. Rules are strictly enforced, and fines can be high. It's important to obey parking signs to avoid being fined or having your vehicle impounded. Paid parking zones are indicated by road markings and parking meters. Make sure you read the signs carefully and respect parking restrictions, especially those concerning zones reserved for deliveries or residents.
Paris has an excellent public transport network. Why not consider leaving your car parked outside the city and use the buses, metros and self-service bicycles to get around? This can not only save you money on parking, but also allow you to discover the city from a different angle.
